This is a section that introduces only plants that we have actually grown.

This time we will introduce the tank bromeliad "Kesneria marmorata Timplomann", which has charming, curly leaf tips.

What kind of plant is Quesneria marmorata Timplomann?

"Timploman" is a selected Quesneria marmorata variety with particularly rounded leaf tips and a distinct pattern.

Brazil is my home.
They grow in clusters, wrapping around large trees.
Like other tank bromeliads, it is a member of the pineapple family.

A fantasy when grown in clusters

It has leaves that do not spread easily and grows straight up.
This makes it easy to manage even when it grows in clumps.
The towering, slender silhouette is truly fantastical.
However, we don't have enough space in our home, so we have to divide it into smaller pieces.

Tank bromeliads are also friendly to beginners.

It is a very easy variety to handle.
Even if there is a slight lack of humidity, they will not suddenly become upset.
It can be kept outdoors from spring to autumn.

However, if exposed to too much light, the leaves will burn.
The sunlight from the second half of July onwards is especially dangerous...
It depends on the amount of time the plant is exposed to sunlight, but it is safer to provide at least 20% shade in the summer.
