[How to grow]
▼Placement
Generally, it should be grown in a sunny location. It can tolerate shade, but if it does not get enough sunlight, it will lose its leaves and its branches will become thin.
Direct sunlight in midsummer can cause leaf scorch, so it is best to provide shade whether indoors or outdoors.
If you keep it outside in the winter, the best thing to do is to bring it inside when the temperature drops to around 10°C. It has some cold resistance and can withstand temperatures as low as 0°C. In Osaka, where our store is located, some people overwinter it outside. In that case, they place it under the eaves to protect it from strong winds and frost.

▼Watering
Water the plant when the soil is dry. Water only after the soil has completely dried out. During the hot months of July through early September, the plant will dry out quickly, so check the water frequently. Growth slows in winter, so you can reduce the frequency of watering.

▼Fertilizer
Watering should be done from April to July and from September to November. Be careful not to water plants in August when temperatures rise to nearly 35°C, as this can damage the plants.
Either solid or liquid fertilizer is fine. When using indoors, we recommend using chemical fertilizers that have a low odor.

▼Other points
Because it has a large number of leaves, it grows better with good ventilation. Good ventilation also helps reduce insects and diseases.
