What is the Peach Festival?
The Peach Festival on March 3rd is one of the five seasonal festivals.
People enjoy Hina dolls, peach blossoms, and Hina arare (rice crackers) in hopes of girls growing up healthy.
Peach blossoms are said to have the power to ward off evil spirits.

First, I tried arranging peach blossoms simply!
Points to consider when choosing peach blossoms
Pay attention to the buds! Choose a branch with lots of bright pink buds.
Purple or grayish buds often die without blooming.
It takes a few days for the flowers to bloom, so get ready early!

The buds tend to fall off easily, so be careful.
Make a cross-shaped cut at the base of each branch to allow it to absorb water better.
The lower branches that may get in the way when arranging the flowers in a vase
Cut it off (don't throw it away, you'll use it later).
The flowers will bloom quickly if the room is warm, so please keep the temperature regulated until March 3rd.
Change the water frequently to prevent the buds from drying out and becoming flaky.
