[Photographing Flowers] Find your own "Like!"

"I bought flowers for my home."
"I got flowers as a celebration!"

Flowers are soothing to look at, but on special days when you buy or receive flowers, why not take photos to enjoy their charm even more?
This time, we've put together some ideas for having fun taking photos while rediscovering the charm of flowers, even if you can't find a good place to take photos.

Step 1: Place it in natural light!

If you take a photo at night after turning on the fluorescent lights in the room, the fluorescent light tends to create a somewhat realistic atmosphere.
The best time to take photos is during bright light, from early morning until early afternoon.

Turn off the lights in your room and place some flowers near a window.
If the light is strong, you can soften it by hanging lace curtains.
The light varies depending on the location, and the flowers look completely different, so try placing them in different places and find your favorite photo spot.
It looks different in the morning and in the afternoon.

Step 2: Look at it from different angles!

Once you've found a spot with good light, it's time to find a nice angle for your flowers.
From above, from the side, from below...
When photographing products, it is common to shoot from an angle above so that the whole picture can be seen clearly, but try to find an angle that you think is "beautiful" or "interesting."

Step 3: It's time to start shooting!

When taking photos with a smartphone, the image quality will be somewhat grainy due to lens distortion.
Zooming in a little or finding an angle where distortion is less noticeable will give the image a more natural look.
Taking close-up photos will help you capture the beauty of the flowers, and you won't have to set up a lot of background, making it easy to take photos.

Step 4: Add a little background

Try combining them with your favorite colors, papers, fabrics, etc. and placing them out of the vase.
You can also add text using an app to make a message card or icon.

Of course, you can enjoy displaying them, but you can also take photos of them to see how they look different in different lights and angles, allowing you to enjoy the charm of flowers even more.
Try keeping your favorite flowers or flowers given to you by loved ones as memories.
