[Care Instructions] It loves the sun, so place it in a sunny location. The sun is strong in the summer, so if you are keeping it indoors, use lace curtains to soften the direct sunlight. It will not die in the shade, but the base will not swell and the number of leaves will decrease.
Because the plant has the tendency to store water in the swelling at the base, overwatering is a no-no. If you are keeping it indoors during the growing season from May to November, check the water level to see if it is dry. If the soil does not dry out too much, watering it once or twice a week will be fine.
