It will not die from a little water shortage or overwatering.

It is not cold-tolerant, so it should generally be grown indoors.
It can grow in partial shade, but if it does not get enough sunlight it will lose its leaves and its branches will become thin.
It will grow healthier if you grow it in a place where it gets plenty of sun.

How to Grow Houseplants

▼Placement
Avoid direct sunlight in the summer. In other seasons, a location with plenty of sunlight is recommended. It can also grow in semi-shaded areas. If it loses leaves or the trunk becomes thin, it is due to lack of sunlight.
If the indoor temperature drops in winter, it will be less likely to drop its leaves if you keep the plant away from a window at night.

▼Watering
Water thoroughly after the soil has dried. In summer, it is okay to water before the soil has dried out completely.

▼Fertilizer
If you are using fertilizer indoors, we recommend using a chemical fertilizer that has little odor. Apply it during seasons that are neither too hot nor too cold, such as April to July and September to November.
