When you hear the word "fern," you may imagine it growing in the shade, but Platycodon staghorn fern (bat plant) tends to prefer sunlight, so if you keep it indoors, keep it in a soft, sunny, well-ventilated place.
The sun is strong in the summer, so avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as this can cause the leaves to burn. Either expose it to sunlight through a lace curtain, or grow it a little away from a window.

This plant is more cold-hardy than you might think, and will not die from the cold in places where a certain level of temperature is maintained even in winter, such as modern apartments and newly built homes.
Basically, it is safe to keep it in a place where the temperature can be maintained above 10°C.
Plants that have been grown in a warm greenhouse tend to be weak to the cold, so be careful. When it gets cold, even if you bring them indoors, keep them away from windows or other places exposed to outside air.
