It is suitable for a sunny location. In summer, the sunlight is strong, so avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn. Place it where it receives light through a sheer curtain or a little distance from a window.
As it is a shade-tolerant houseplant, you can also place it a little distance from a window. If the stem becomes leggy or the white pattern does not appear clearly, move it to a sunnier location.

As it is a tropical plant, it is best to ensure a temperature of 10°C or higher even in winter. Caution is required if the room temperature falls significantly below 5°C. In modern apartments or newly built houses, it should be able to overwinter without problems, except in the entryway.

<watering>
It is relatively drought-tolerant. However, it does not prefer dryness, so water thoroughly when the soil dries out. From May to September, when temperatures rise, misting the leaves will promote better growth. During this period, even once every two weeks, showering the entire plant in the kitchen or outdoors will help prevent spider mites and scale insects.

<fertilizer>
Apply slow-release fertilizer during the growing season, or dilute liquid fertilizer to a lower concentration than the manufacturer's recommended ratio. As it is not a plant that absolutely requires fertilizer, apply it according to your own care style.
